Serve Community: Clothes Giveaway

Throughout the month of May, we will be collecting clothes for our annual Back-to-School Clothes Giveaway that will take place in August. We are collecting both new and gently worn clothing (please bring clean clothes that are not stained or damaged). Clothes can be dropped off on any campus on Sundays or at the Van Buren campus during the week. For more information, e-mail mike@communitychurch.com.
* We are accepting clothes only for the giveaway – please do not drop off toys or other household items.

Serve Community: Summer Youth Program

Join us in serving Community this summer through the Elm Grove Summer Youth Program. The six-week program, located at Martin Luther King Park in Fort Smith, is primarily for North Fort Smith neighborhood children and youth. This summer’s theme is “Hearts to Change the World.” Our goal is to provide a positive environment and experience for the kids that will encourage them to tell their “future story,” to dream, and to think about their future. We want to introduce them to the concept of “transformed lives transforming the world,” and we want to give them an opportunity to play, serve and be served within a diverse community of friends who care about them personally and their community. In turn, we’ll invite them and their families to catch our vision—not just for North Fort Smith, but for the world—at Community Bible, North Fort Smith. We will have 60 kids and 15 workers (5 staff, 10 interns) at the SYP and you can help fund it by making a tax-deductible donation. Here are some ways you, your HomeGroup or your business can help:
• For $500 you can sponsor a week of meals for 60 kids.
• For $125 you can sponsor a days worth of meals for 60 kids.
• For $50 you can sponsor one child’s meals for the entire summer program.
• For $10 you can sponsor one child’s meals for one week.
• For $1200 you can sponsor one staff member for the entire summer program.
• For $200 you can sponsor one staff member for a week.
• For $50 you can sponsor one staff member for a day.
• For $1000 you can sponsor one intern for the entire summer program.
• For $170 you can sponsor one intern for a week.
• For $43 you can sponsor one intern for a day.
• For $200 you can purchase supplies for the every child in the summer program for one week.
• For $20 you can purchase supplies for one child for the entire summer program.

Baby Dedication Service | FSM Campus

Baby dedications are intended to set a child apart, for parents to commit to raising their child in a Godly way, and for the Church to commit to engaging in that child’s life in a way that promotes faith. The dedication in no way guarantees the salvation of the child but begins the process through which the child will hopefully come to faith. If you would like to dedicate your child at our next dedication service on Mother’s Day, sign up at the desk in the Children’s hallway and e-mail a photo to kerry@communitychurch.com no later than Sun., May 6. In the e-mail, please include the child’s full name, parent’s names, a verse that you would like to read for your child (and the version of the Bible you will be reading from), what campus you attend, and if you will attend the 1st or 2nd service.
