Get Involved

It is an easy imperative to give, but not always an easy one to apply. For some, the goal of Christ-likeness is so overwhelming that is paralyzes them. Others, however, realize the greater the task, the more urgent the time. We cannot afford to wait for a more convenient time to begin our journey. The process will take a lifetime and we have no time to waste. Opportunities at Community include the following:

2008 Home Groups — Home Groups are the heart of Community. A Home Group meets every other week, usually in a group member’s home, for Bible study and to enjoy each others’ company and each group usually takes on its own personality. Some are made up of people that are similar in age while others consist of people that live in the same area of our community. We believe that relationships are vital to personal spiritual growth so we strongly encourage everyone to get involved in a Home Group. For more information, contact our small groups pastor, Mark Kincannon by e-mailing mark@communitychurch.com or by calling the church office. He'll help you find the group that's the best fit for you.

It will be a great place to connect with other students your age. Don’t miss it! Community students will not meet on Father’s Day (June 15).
