Community Groups

A Community Group is a small gathering of people meeting together to foster spiritual growth. Some are designed to serve our community, and others are designed for Bible Study. Some groups are designed to support and encourage people that have gone through a difficult time in life. Others are designed just to get to know others in our church. Each Community Group has a unique opportunity to reach our community for Christ. We strongly encourage everyone to get involved in Community Groups.

Home Groups

Click to see map of home groups...Home Groups are the heart of Community. A Home Group meets every other week, usually in a group member’s home, for Bible study and to enjoy each others’ company and each group usually takes on its own personality. Some are made up of people that are similar in age while others consist of people that live in the same area of our community. We believe that relationships are vital to personal spiritual growth so we strongly encourage everyone to get involved in a Home Group.

Foundations

Foundations is a series of semester long classes designed to teach the foundation aspects of Christianity. No structure will last very long without a solid foundation. Likewise, the Christian that doesn’t have a strong foundation will likely crumble under pressure. These classes have been created to equip Christians with a deeper understanding of Scripture. There are five classes, each lasting a semester, that are held on Wednesday nights from 6:15pm — 7:30pm.

Discipleship & Leadership Training

We believe that Christian discipleship and leadership go hand in hand. These intensive groups are designed to train men and women to be the next ministry leaders of our church. They are made of one leader and no more than three other group members. These groups meet weekly throughout the year, at times that are convenient for the participants. Each week, group members come prepared to discuss material that was studied the previous week. The curriculum involves Bible study, spiritual disciplines and leadership skills.
