Home Groups
Home Groups are the heart of Community. A Home Group meets every other week, usually in a group member’s home, for Bible study and to enjoy each others’ company. Each group usually takes on its own personality. Some are made up of people that are similar in age while others consist of people that live in the same area of our community. We believe that relationships are vital to personal spiritual growth so we strongly encourage everyone to get involved in a Home Group.
The Sign-ups
Home Groups consist of a variety of formats, some intentional but most not — for example, some include...
- Mixed ages and demographics
- People with no kids
- People with preschoolers
- People with elementary students
- People with high schoolers
- People with children that are out of the house
Each group is a little different, but they are all laid back — people come together to enjoy the company of others and to encourage one another on their journey to be more like Christ, to lead transformed lives. The Study...Philippians
Most groups will be discussing the Sermon Series from Sunday mornings. There will be discussion questions for each Sunday sermon. The questions will correlate with the text that was preached that Sunday.
The Dates
The Fall Home Group Semester will begin the first Sunday after Labor Day, the week of September 7th, thru the Holiday season.
