Recovery & Support Groups

Recovery and Support Groups meet on a regular basis in order to aid those that have been through a difficult time in their life. These groups provide a confidential atmosphere in which people can be helped through unfortunate situations in their lives.


Current Events

  • Silent Love (women grieving the loss of a baby during pregnancy) — Meetings are being held once monthly. For more details, contact Becca Whitson at 479-649-9193 or Shera Bean at 479-452-6761.   • Widows helping Widows — This is a Christian based support group for women and men of all ages who need encouragement and emotional support following the loss of their spouse. The purpose of this support group is to empower its members to “discover” and express their feelings and discuss how to cope with loneliness. Contact Linda Irvin at 918-647-1227 for more details.
  • Al-anon — Al-anon is a 12-step support group for friends and families of alcoholics. We meet at 8:00pm every Tuesday night in the conference room.
  • Divorce Support Group — Are you going through or have you gone through a divorce? A Time For Healing, Coming To Terms With Your Divorce is a 6-9 week series for women. It will begin Wednesday, September 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Fort Smith campus. Childcare will be provided. If you need childcare, please let us know the number of children and their ages.
